I have 2 knives that I use for backpacking and survival adventures. I needed to have them sharpened and was impressed with Doug's online reviews. I decided to give him a try and I was not disappointed. Scheduling was easy. Doug met me curbside when I dropped off the knives. Within about 40 minutes I received a text notifying me that he was working on my knives and they would be ready for pick-up the next day. I arranged to have a family member pick up the knives, and when I got them back I was extremely pleased with the look and feel of the newly sharpened edges. And the price was very reasonable. I recently inherited a bunch of old knives who were owned by my great-great grandfather, who was a butcher. These have been in my grand-parents kitchen drawer for a very long time. I wasn’t sure they could be refurbished. They were taken to Bonneville sharpening, and I could not be more thrilled with the outcome. They are once again a wonderful and useful family tool. Outstanding American Small Business! If you need an axe and/or knife sharpened, Doug Agee is your man. He's outstanding at his craft/trade, and a true professional. Scheduling my appt. was a breeze (w/ his scheduling app), and Doug was very prompt in confirming my appt. and answering all my questions in advance. His small shop is located in a very nice, clean neighborhood, and Doug is likely to meet you curb-side upon arrival. Now that's the definition of customer service. I had Doug sharpen and polish, three (3) high-end camp/forest axes, and he conditioned the handles, too. All three axes turned out great! They are sharper than I've ever had them, and I am truly impressed. Doug was able to have the axes completed the same day I dropped them off, but I wasn't able to p/u until the next day. Bonneville Sharpening Service provides sharpening for kitchen knives, pocket and sport knives, scissors, garden tools, and more. Dedicated to the restoration of knives and tools to better than new condition and to keep them in use.
