We see most customers about every 9 to 12 months. If you enjoy cooking and are a heavy user, twice a year is common.

Honing a few times a month, maintains a sharp edge. You will eventually need sharpening, but honing will prolong the time between. We are glad to show you how we hone on your visit.

Rolling your knives in a dish or tea towel is a simple solution. See photo example above.

Twice a year is a good rule of a green thumb. A sharp mower blade cuts cleaner with quicker recovery. Having a 2nd blade on hand to install when you remove the dull blade will save time and keep your lawn looking tidy.

Various methods are utilized to match the tool bevel and honor the maker. We sharpen with; a belt system, a precision wet stone system, a precision scissor grinding system and a CBN wheel system for wood tools. We also use diamond stones and a variety of strops and hones to get the perfect finish.
